Seven shooting days, several locations, and more than a few moments that tested my fear of heights. From the helicopter pad of Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia to the roof of a train wagon, an abandoned airfield, and the runway beside a Spartan aircraft — every shot came with its own kind of adrenaline. But let’s just say my knees went a little soft standing on top of the train wagons — definitely the scariest location for me. The bomb disposal team staged a massive controlled explosion behind the commandos, while another day had me photographing parachutists from a Spartan aircraft in mid-air. A project full of movement, precision, and a lot of trust — both in the team and in the places they operate. One of the most interesting projects and locations I’ve had the chance to shoot as a photographer.
